I have been a member of the Diocese my entire life (54 years), growing up in Columbus, attending Ohio State, and working in Chillicothe and Cincinnati. My wife and I have been members of St. Thomas for eleven years (members of the Cathedral before that). I have the pleasure and honor of serving the congregation of St. Thomas as Senior Warden. I have held this position for the past five years, serving as Junior Warden and Vestry member before that. I have also supported The Boy Scouts of America in leadership roles and Habitat for Humanity as a weekend volunteer.
As someone who has been active and committed to the Episcopal Church and the Diocese of Southern Ohio to the extent that I have, I feel compelled and called to support our Church in any way I can. The pandemic has placed such a stress on all of us as individual members and on the entity of the Church as a whole, that I feel I must give back to the Church and Diocese that I love. I pledge my help and support to offer what I can to not only get the Diocese and member congregations back to what we were before the pandemic, but to help and guide striving to become better, stronger and more loving following the footsteps and teachings of Christ.
