My family and I have been members of St. Patrick’s Dublin for almost 17 years where we have been involved in many ministries. I have directed Vacation Bible School, written Sunday School curricula, sat on Vestry, led Youth Group, organized playgroups for little ones and intergenerational events, served on Altar Guild, and directed a youth music ministry. I completed Education for Ministry as a young mom and have found great direction and purpose through not only the Biblical and historical education but through the disciplines of reflection and discernment. Through St. Patrick’s, my family and I have been able to participate in outreach programs that have connected us with organizations such as The Ronald McDonald House, Dublin Food Pantry, Pet Promise, Let Love Farm, Franklinton Cycle Works, and many more. We strive to serve Christ in all persons and look for ways to be a blessing in our church and in our community.
My family and I have been coming to Procter as campers for almost 10 years. My teenagers have stayed for Grade-Level Camp, my daughter has attended Day Camp, and we have come to Family Camp with friends from all over the diocese. Recently, my daughter and I have been living and working at Procter Farm and growing even deeper roots of love for the mission of the church at Procter. We believe this place to have the breath of the Spirit at work on it’s land, through it’s staff and counselors, and in the rooms of the cabins and conference center. I know the recent history of Procter, I live the joyous present, and I believe in a prosperous future where God’s love emanates from London throughout the diocese for years to come.
