R2022-01: Resolution for Closure of St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church, Maineville

Whereas, representatives of the Diocese of Southern Ohio and the leadership of St. Mary Magdalene, Maineville have held discussions and finalized plans for the closure of St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church, Maineville; and

Whereas, upon acceptance by the 148th Annual Convention, this resolution shall dissolve the union between St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church, Maineville, Ohio and the Diocese of Southern Ohio; therefore be it

Resolved, that upon acceptance of this resolution by a vote of two-thirds of each order of the 148th Annual Convention, the union between St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church, Maineville, Ohio and the Convention of the Diocese of Southern Ohio be dissolved and that the “Contract of Closure” as delivered to the Standing Committee be received and effective.
