R2007-11: A resolution urging all the dioceses and Bishops to receive and accept the Windsor Report (offered as replacement for R2007-09)

Be it resolved, that the 133rd Convention of the Diocese of Southern Ohio commend the House of Bishops for the recent discussions with the Archbishop of Canterbury and representatives of the Anglican Consultative Council and of the Primates, in New Orleans (September, 2007), which give us hope that these relationships are being renewed and strengthened, and be it further

Resolved, that this convention express that it is encouraged by the process of Anglican Communion dialogue concerning matters which have strained the bonds of affection within the Communion, giving us cause for still greater hope, and be it further

Resolved, that this Convention endorse the listening process called for in the Windsor Report, that we may enter a deeper understanding of our several conditions and a more profound love of one another as the body of Christ for our broken world.
